Saints will have a few new faces on Saturday.

Saints are certain to make at least two changes on Saturday as Neal Trotman and Dean Hammond make their debuts, both are another cog in the machinery as Alan Pardew seeks to find his best side and get the season kick started.

Certainly Trotman at the back is sorely needed with every goal conceded so far coming from a dead ball situation, of course the penalty at Huddersfield is being a bit pedantic, but that came about with the failure of one of our central defenders to deal with a bog standard hoof up the field.

One thing is for certain Saints have to shore up the back and then start to create from midfield, the last two games have seen it lack both width and creativity, which of course combines to leave us struggling to feed Rickie Lambert and short of chances, hopefully things will now start to change.

The fans can play a big part, they were magnificent against Millwall and the same is needed again, but perhaps more importantly the majority need to make sure that the minority dont hold sway if things arent going well, at Swindon voices of discontent were heard, whilsst things arent going too well, its still early days and Pardew has to be given time to sort things out.

But this is a game that Saints can win and certainly have a better chance of doing so with the arrival of two players in vital positions.
