County have added an additional pre-season friendly to their schedule as they have arranged to face Glossop North End on Saturday afternoon. The game will take place at North End's Surrey Street ground and will be County's last warm up match before the new season kicks off.

County manager Paul Simpson has been able to arrange the additional match after Glossop were let down by Championship outfit Barnsley whom they had been due to play in a friendly game on Monday evening. Although Glossop had been due to play a Barnsley XI on Monday, the friendly against County will take place on Saturday.

Glossop currently ply their trade in the Vodkat Premier League (level 9 on the pyramid), which is also known as the North West Counties League. Last season they finished 7th in the table.

Admission prices for the game against the Steelmen will be £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
