Wrexham FC v Gateshead - Dom Vose wondergoal 14:44 - Nov 16 with 1283 viewsdurham_exile

The Wrexham website contributor believes that Dominic Vose scored the best goal ever in their 151 year history at the weekend!

Dom Vose - disputes this saying it isn't the best that he has ever scored! Another ex Colchester player plying their trade and doing very nicely thank you!

Reminiscent of THAT John Barnes' goal against Brazil - Vose dribbled around half the Gateshead team before tucking the ball neatly past the Gateshead Keeper.

PS Would Wrexham want TH back I wonder!

Not the required standard for League 1 am afraid. Vastly more time in the National Conference.

I'm sure he took that last defender just for the hell of it!

Not the greatest of opposition, but good to see him banging in the goals. I think it's 9 in 20 games.

One goal in 34 appearances for the U's.

Could often dribble around three men but always lost it to a fourth when a pass was the easier option. It's evidently far easier in non-league.

Nobody (league) rushed to sign him after he left the U's. Wonder if he couldn't shake off his bad boy reputation from his early days?

Birmingham City are poised to sign Vose probably in January.

His current good form means he has several championship suitors with Brum very keen.
