Forster’s certainly not an option as he’s not prem quality whatsoever. As he’s never come off of his line and certainly was no good with the ball at his feet. As the only reason he had any decent stats from before was due to the likes of having Van Dijk, Fonte, Romeu/Wanyama in front of him, which then showed by how poor everything got defensively after most of them left.
But even then, ain’t he at spurs now, as I can also recall a period he was in goal for Spurs for, where loads of there fans were moaning about how poor he was |

Yeah well I also heard him mention about developing the stadium and increasing its capacity… so one can only wonder when that’ll be and hope that it’ll be handled better than Everton’s new stadium has been |

So of course there’s been a lot of talk about many of the players we’ve had in on loan, but what about those that we loaned out?
As the 7 that we loaned out this season were Parraud, Lyanco, Caletta-Car, Alcaraz, Lis, tall Paul, and Bella-Kotcha. So what should we do with each of them? Sell, loan out again or keep them for next season?… [Post edited 28 May 14:04]

West Brom are certainly better than Sheffield United and maybe even Luton/Burnley, as I think it’ll be them, Leeds and one of Luton/Burnley that go back up next season.
But still for us next season will be a challenge |

I think that if we can get in Downes as well, with the returning of some of our players out on loan I think we need a new goalie, another centre half, left back (presuming RM doesn’t like Piroe), attacking midfielder and another central striker |

Yeah but the point I was making there was that they don’t have relegation over there so the second half of the seasons boring over there for any teams outside the top half of the table, and how they’re basically waiting for the next season to start, which most leagues would also be like in the upper half if it wasn’t for the playoffs.
As it’s a combination of both the playoffs and relegation scrap that makes the league entertaining for basically all teams until we hit like the last 5 games or so of the season |

But there’s always going to be some cautionings that people will disagree with and same for fouls, as in these cup finals if there’s ever any uncertainty it’ll most likely go the defenders way.
But the only cautioning early on I felt he missed was when Aribo had gust shirt pulled and stopped an attack just outside their box. But other than that, I thought the ref got most of the discipline correct for today |

Well tbf to the offials for this game, they officiated well with minimum controversy and VAR went pretty unnoticed with no interventions or delays. So a pretty decent day for the officials to this game |

Even more satisfying though knowing that many of them were adamant that they’d be playing us next season, and would’ve been well and truly rooting for Leeds today, only to be let down yet again 😂 |

I think it’s been more down to us going to a back 5 rather than Bazunu, but still McCarthy has been better than Bazunu and hopefully we can get in a top quality keeper for next season like Ramsdale or something (although that is quite an optimistic shout) |

Yeah well even I’ll admit that I was one of those that wanted him out after the Rotherham and Ipswich games, but did say that if he got us up then I didn’t care where we finished, and well fair play to him as that’s what he did!
So Russel Martin you sure did a fine job here and proved many of the doubters like myself wrong this season |

But unfortunately that’s just going to be happening more and more with how big the gaps getting, which is why I’d have my money on Ipswich breaking that record next season.
But still loosing to some of the best teams in the world is better than getting knocked outta cups to non league teams on a regular basis… |

He’s one of the refs who’s heading up, so I wouldn’t of thought we’d get too many issues from him on Sunday |
