Nice bit of creativity released on the official site. Short depection of rising from dark dismal decay to new hope, new era. Nice one whoever wrote that. Something different.Well done more of that please.
No downers from me regards Landell.Hopefully a bigger squad a better season, not begging and borrowing from nearby teams for loans. A bigger choice to pick from in selection and dont have to put up with players positions guaranteed anymore. Ebanks has been brilliant in some games, and made a few clangers in others. But from when I've seen him play, he plays with honesty and gives his best. Good player at this level, let's see this season with a stronger squad he helps us up or at the very least challenging for a playoff position
Watched a few podcast interviews etc. Cheeky chappie. hope he helps boost team spirit, especially during bad runs, A character that we lacked during our mean and moody relegation season in a squad that didn't gel or fight for each other. Hopefully hes a decent player too!
Its a good point to raise, good feedback from happier fans shows were continuing on the right track regards ticketing, club shop and website improvements. Last forum there was no stream, This one, we got a stream, im sure the next one we'll be opening with a great intro.
A great introduction to the new board. I would say we're definitely in safe hands now, buyers appear to be in it for the long term.
Very much an upbeat overview and great to hear all aspects of the club are being thoroughly analysed,. stripped back and rebuilt. Looking into at each areas importance, effect, and value applying funds accordingly. Some might scorn that you can't polish a turd, but you can sprinkle hundreds and thousands on it, and hopefuly its a turd we're all going to be proud of.
plenty of time for me to buy and was waiting for another pay day to help finance. We will be picking up 4. I'm definitely getting a season card. I did debate buying for next season though, I missed few games when on a bad run and the patient build ups became agonisingly slow.
We've been paupers very long time, and haven't been able to upgrade, invest and speculate. Now the owners can put great ideas to the test and create increased revenue. Upgrading the whole product, Hospitality, meeting facilities, catering, retail, building and more.
It'll be an Interesting meeting to get to hear the short and long term plans again and current progress (although only just got their feet under the table). Id be especially interested to hear if there's any project update on the training grounds and whether theres plans to redevelop the ground at all, building or extending the site.
Great news. And now with some very experienced business heads in the engine room. Hopefully the Rochdale FC brand is going to become more appealing to locals/supporters. Also hopefully with experienced better crafted messages, and things like Improved sponsorship deals, collaborations and good overall marketing strategy will see the club finally grow into an eternity beyond our expectations.
New feeling around the club with the takeover. Potentially some stability and better players in. Ill be getting a season ticket for sure, to help keep the town team in pocket. Although if the entertainment on field nosedives like at times last season, i'll be ducking a few games, and watch bits of it at home on the tinternet.
Thank feck for that, a brilliant solid announcement, we've reached the light, great news , an update that puts us on a path for growth. The Ogdens provide the potential and club management can hopefully build something that benefits the town, improves the facilities and hopefully gives the fans something to cheer on Saturday. Under the guidance of experienced business owners.
I'm extra glad for those who've stuck by the club and gave their time working for free, throughout these turbulent years.
Behind the scenes its great, but I really do hope though the same enthusiasm and ambitions rubs off on the players and coach. This patient play stuff is dire, especially when we are chasing games or the style is not working. I'm not bothered when 2 nil up. But patient play with sometimes lacklustre players, when losing, it becomes an 11 on on the frustration scale.
hope we can improve the product on the pitch, and we have players and coach that are along for the ride.
Just a thought around targeting Dale ticket sales at groups of people and reaching out to bring in money from pools of fans, mates, work, clubs who might want to make a day of it.
Could be worth it during times when Dale are playing great or....even just have it as an option on the ticketing sales page on the club website.
I've seen clubs abroad that have this option, and maybe its something to explore. Offer a big discount to groups of fans who are 5, 10 , or 15 etc in number.
Decent enough game, i quite enjoyed. We certainly took the game to them and played with a quicker tempo than in previous weeks. The amount of shots we get blocked was high, we're getting chances around their box but wasting far too many..
