Why?, you're the one giving it the biggin for winning Div3, from the sparse crowd attending it looks like the other 203,000 population of the City didn't give a monkeys, did they?
Hardly any Newcastle fan alive would remember them last winning a domestic trophy
(they wouldn't brag about winning the Second Div, unlike some), Spurs have won only 2 League cups in 34 years they're bigger clubs, yous brought the FA Cup with stolen and went bankrupt , couldn't pay the the players, local businesses, etc , other teams may not win much apart from the big fish, but at least they aren't crooked. |

Looks like most of your fans weren't as bothered as you about winning a Div 3 trophy were they 130? You enjoy yourself?, rain held off.
Didn't really need Southsea Common did you?, could have easy fitted that lot in the Fratton End as still had plenty of empty seats  Most of them were probably there to see the women's team anyway.

So SFC decided not to offer a reciprocal deal for £15 tickets?
If true seems crazy, as for the sake of £45k@ say £30 for Leeds fans at SMS especially as we never sold all our tickets that day, our fans would have cost Leeds £96k if we'd have have sold 3000. (I know they only offered 2000, but there's a reason for that).
I've only been to Leeds 3 times, 1979, Kelvin Davis 0-0 promotion season, and one other, none of those we got near to selling 3000, but we may have at £15 a pop.
If anyone wants to pay me 400sovs for my ticket, just give me a ring, cos I won't be travelling for a dead rubber for us at 1230. |

Someone told me it was for the Saints fan that died (aged 28) last Thursday in Romsey after a hit and run. The driver has yet to come forward, he/she won't be sleeping well.
I thought the same as you with AM in goal, he's not good enough for the passing game (p1ssing about in the box) so got the ball forward quicker to players that can pass can then pass to each other.
Was at Ipswich couple of weeks back, and all the corners we had (about 8) we just lumped in and you could see we'd we'd never win a header if we'd had a 100.
I'm thinking if a novice like me can see it's not working why can't RM?
Last couple of games he's seems to have noticed, short corners, changing it up, I mean it's not as if we've got TP lumbering around up top (thank God) to head it in in to row Z is it now? |

You've obviously never seen him play live, he wouldn't get a game for Hedge End Rangers.
£50k a week we're paying him, you couldn't make it up really, should have Plod knocking his door for obtaining money under false pretences, may have found his level in 9th ranked Turkeys league.
Give him away, no teams daft enough to pay any fee for a useless fraud. |

Noticed that Leeds were given a much smaller allocation than we got, think we had around 3000 there for the night game and could have had more as the rest of that end was empty.
Leeds gave Cov 3000 for the reverse fixture in Dec, so they won't be too pleased, but rules are rules and Cov only had to give them 2000, although Leeds would have sold the whole end if given.
Guessing, the only reason they've reduced away allocations is they have around 35000 FA Cup semi final tickets to sell (and maybe a final as Man U are pants) so are now can easy fill the ground with their fans (priority to buy) as their average att has risen from around 23000 to 29000 the last two matches.
I won't be paying 50£ for a ticket [Post edited 8 Apr 22:47]

Good post, I don't mind the possession game, last season the players masquerading as PL players would struggle to play pass the parcel, within a couple of months RM has turned players (not even pl players)who are now brave and confident with the ball.
What's cost us is we're still soft in defence and Che up front only scoring 11 when you'd have thought he'd have have at least double that at this level. He wont be brought by Wolves or any other PL club, not good enough.
Haven't been to all the away games, but had decent days out at Plymouth, Millwall, Cov, Rotherham, even Liverpool where we outplayed them first half and should of been 2 or 3 up, weren't even difficult chances.
Don't really know what fans expected really, Leicester came down with a PL squad and only lost a couple of decent ones, we sold the crown jewels JWP, RL, TL, to cover the £100m wasted on the likes of Sulamana, Tall Paul, Alcatraz Orsic, and many others brought for the PL, and anyone who's seen them play live, can see they're not even League One level. We've got a few Joeys on here, never go to games who think they can play, and still moan after 25 games unbeaten. Couldn't make it up really. |

Best PL game of the season, worst was City V Arsenal Sunday, dire.
United were terrible at the weekend v Brentford, gave it a go tonight, should be a few goals when they play the Mickeys Sunday |
