I would guess because Blackpool agreed to a loan and the terms were acceptable to the club. Not our fault Ince didn't agree.
Just because we were interested in one winger doesn't mean we should be interested in all of them. Thankfully we very rarely panic buy.
I think I'm right in saying the last time we spent heavily in January was under Jackett. Seeing how the likes of Fallon, Knight, Way and Amankwaah worked out, I'm happy those at the club seem more sensible than many of our fans. | |
