Many, including me, criticise the press for reporting unfounded rumours without any direct quotes or named sources. Why therefore is Planet Swans now doing the same with headlines quoting the Daily Mail and Twitter?
All rumours can have a damaging effect on the club and the press just feed further upon this. I don't feel this helping the team and the battle we have to pull away from the drop zone. |  |

Good post.
It is easy to respond to these stories and I would urge more Swans fans to do so.
However, many stories are generated by trawling sites like this and only reflect what is common currency amongst our "fans". |  |

Completely disagree - the point of the article is clearly to state that there are two differing reports within several hours of each other thus suggesting that most of what is written is guesswork.
The rumours are out there I would agree with you if they were being made up in the article

Whilst I support Michael Laudrup and can see that if we win next week all in the garden will be rosey, there is a thing called shadow of the leader, if your leader is all lethargic, then so will the followers.
Whilst I and 99% of supporters dont know what goes on in the changing room or training ground, and know you cant change a personality, there is a duty I am sure to instill a little confidence. Indeed, the team, the club was beaten on the day, But I read it as ML beaten- as in devoid of ideas for the rest of the season. . 'West Ham won' would have been sufficient. Or the 'team were beaten on the day'. Having said that it was obvious to all it was the case that we had lost. The wording was very strange if all Planet Swans was saying is we lost.
I agree the comment is open to interpretation but it seemed unnecessary to me and an opportunity to fan the flames.
BTW this is not particularly having a go at you as I have witnessed you battling bravely against the negative posters on here. I just find it surprising that Planet Swabs appears to be jumping on the press bandwagon and posting such comments and feeding the negativity on here. | |
