Stupid playing friendlies in the middle of a season. |
They are changing the international calendar from the end of this season, so this will be the last one off mid season friendly, from the summer on there will be nine two week breaks over the course of two seasons (every September, October, November and March plus non World Cup/Euro June's). No more international friendlies 3 days before the start of main domestic league seasons as a result, and so the Super Cup has been moved to the Tuesday of the week this used to occupy. | | | |

I know and it's great innit.If he's fit we might see him play on a dodgy internet stream and if he isn't we might see Drogba instead.I'm really looking forward to the WC as well and seeing him flaunt his talent on the biggest stage of all.As for Ash and his current predicament,I'd rather see him rest for the full 2 weeks as I'm a Swans fan first and foremost and I think his competitiveness would see him maybe start for Wales and where we don't have the back up/resources to say 'No...you're not 100%, we'll play so an so instead'.
