Message to Mods - Could you kindly do a great favour to many posters on this site by reminding posters to keep on subject, this complete lack of any discipline on this board has now become farcical, sort it out please. As I said a few days ago warn posters in red text to keep on subject otherwise they will recieve a yellow card continue off subject and red (ban). This is said in the spirit of retaining the quality of this great site.

Absolutely not. If this site stayed on topic it would be no fun whatsoever.

But thank you for your input, which has been given due consideration and dismissed out of hand.

You gotta try much harder than that.

BTW, your remark about all the female HR directors was the most sexist remark on this thread.

Bon appetit.

It really wasn't you know.

It is actually factually correct, albeit disappointing, that the majority of women serving on the Board of FTSE companies are HR Directors.

And no, I am not in HR either :)

Keep on digging, Son.

Youve been taken apart on this thread for knowing the grand total of sweet FA. Youve even managed to out yourself as being Shaky and Spratty. Impressive stuff.

Oh, and sexist? I can back my comments up with FACTS, not that they were in the slightest bit sexist. Unlike yours which are generally imaginary and kinda scary. Its amazing how you can twist things.

Oh, and im not French, so id appreciate it if you wouldnt insinuate that i was. Theres a good lad.

Where I work, the HR director is a bloke. Nice chap. Cardiff fan though. Wears a Cardiff City rope to hold his pass on and drinks out of a Cardiff City mug. He hasn't spoken to me much this past few weeks. Not sure why.

Six pages of both "camps" making sh*t up and claiming it supports their viewpoint. Pathetic. Only Lisa is making any kind of sense at all.

Half f you need to remember that Laudrup's gone now, he's got his wonga (however much it was) so there's no point arguing with his fanboys who won't leave it drop while you keep arguing with them.

The other half of you need to remember that you're supposed to be Swansea City fans not Michael f*cking Laudrup fans. The fact that you're taking pleasure that you feel Laudrup has been "vindicated" over the club brings into question where your loyalties lie. Any true Swansea City fan would have been happy to see Laudrup walk away with nothing.

Get a grip of yourselves.

So you agree with me but only Lisa makes sense?

Fair enough, perhaps I'll taper it downwards to say that I wouldn't have lost any sleep if Laudrup had walked away with nothing.

I'm with your original answer. Why would it be in our interest for us to pay however much it was just because Laudrup said he was entitled. Bonkers.

We only pay if he is entitled to it - not because Ml says so. If it was proven the club had shafted him however then I would not be against him having the compo that he is entitled to.
If that scenario existed I would hope we would learn from the experience, admit our error and move on.
I am proud of my club and would hope we not be in the business of shafting employees.
That does not make me a lesser supporter.

And whos arguing with that?

If he's legally entitled then of course we pay. If it's debateable and our legal types agree a settlement then we'll pay that too. But to just pay whatever someone tells us we should is silly.

Are you suggesting we shafted local businesses?

That's entirely different. We have no need to not pay out legal obligations.
