I surfed up until 4 years ago, heart attacks meant i had to stop for a while, being overweight stops me now. I am sorting it out though, bought myself a bike, time to get fit again then off to Llangennith.  |  | | |

Yes, up until a few years ago, health has gone down hill a bit, so scaled things back a bit and do a bit of body boarding to fill the gap!

Looking at actually switching to sponging for a while. Pretty rare that you go from stand up to sponge but quite fancy giving it a go. Some narly reefs around here and I ride a long board which isn't ideal. Really fancy a change. | |

Would you advise against it then? I mean considering I'm looking at shelling out a fair whack? I sponged briefly as a kid but can barely remember that now.
