Last season the "emergency" loan window ran from 10 September to 28 November. FIFA have ever-so-kindly agreed to let England continue with this arrangement until the end of the 14/15 season, even though it breaches FIFA transfer regulations (thank you ever so much, Mr. Blatter, you're ever so kind and we is your ever so 'umble servants Mr. Blatter sir).
Presumably the equivalent dates will be in force this season. That means that we take take players on real loans until the end of August and then have a 10 day hiatus - during which time we have no games - before taking on emergency loans.
