Matt Williams was always the glue that stuck everything together at Bloomfield Road and KO letting him go and not upping his wage to try and keep him was his biggest summer mistake.

The irony is that half their squad were with us last season - although everything in perspective this is League Two!

Well done to Shrewsbury. Always thought Mellon was handed a rough deal at Fleetwood and seemed to have put everything in place for others to take the glory. Seems to know what he's doing although some of that may be down to Matt who was massively under-rated as a 'football man' as well as a secretary.

Great performance tonight and typical 'big club' gets a lucky break - pleased for all the lads down there (I'd say it's Blackpool reserves but most could make our first team!).
