I've been comfortable for a long time that it might not all be about transfer fees nowadays in the lower leagues due to the Bosman ruling but having said that, there are a whole host of other things that can be done to allow a club to be successful... some of which we used to do but no longer seem to be bothering with.... planning, treating people well who will do a good job for you to keep a solid core of the team etc. It's that which is the most baffling about the whole situation at BFC. Bradfords team might have cost £7,500 but they have a manager we couldn't get, a player we couldn't get (at least on 2 occasions) Jon Stead, and have 3 cast off ex Blackpool players in Zoko, Halliday, Clarke, who were all considered not good enough for this club.
