I have many good friends, but I've never threaten to hit any of them. I personally think a threat of violence is more than just slightly 'overstepping the mark'.
If you are the 'theoretical number two', as you claim to be, should you not be setting the tone for the site? Leading by example? Encouraging peace and discord on the site? Constant, recent criticism of MFB, eventhough you claim to have supported him in the past and that you have since apologised, does none of these things.
This is a great site. It has a tradition of intelligence, maturity, humour and harmony. I have always enjoyed reading; the creative humour of people like Viking, Pancab and Wessex; the excellent match reports from Noah and hosts of other posters; the sensible and thoroughly entertaining posts of PWK, TOOT, Durham, Gerry, RS... (The list is endless).
If I am honest, barside, i find some of your posts, divisive and condescending. Now that you post more regularly and that you see yourself as 'the theoretical number two' your views have greater influence on the board. My worry is that this board will begin to lose its previous principles and start turning into a place of infighting and hierarchy, which is how i remember the official message board to be. |  | | |

Happy developed the PL, you then spent a lot of effort trying to undermine him and take it from him. Your 'apology' to MFB, the one that really should have counted, wasn't really particularly contrite, more defensive - ie "misunderstanding" "lost in translation" - almost as if it wasn't really your fault. You claim MFB is a good friend, but in the same way that you lashed out at Ethics, you do understand that you don't talk to your friends that way, don't you? I strongly suspect you have some fairly deep-rooted temper management issues to be honest, in that despite being a grown man, you have the temper of a petulant child...
...and no, you're not the "theoretical second in command" here - you're not the only one who gets PMs.
