Yes you obviously work with people who aren't able to work and as I've already said should get all the help they need. There are though people who are claiming these benefits who shouldn't be.

Yes - I agree that people who are well off shouldn't receive any benefits - the free prescriptions policy in Wales is a grotesque policy as is winter fuel allowance for wealthy pensioners.
But the point is that they don't do anything about that because they are a significant and powerful voting group so they focus instead on the poor buggers that don't have a voice.
I agree that the welfare system is now out of control as well but again, the suggestions for cuts are badly thought out and are all based on social politics rather than need.

That's not their fault, they can't help their background but they have to be smart enough to surround themselves with at least some people that know the true value of money and they are not. And ultimately, that's why they have to be blamed for this shambles.
The IDS resignation is all about seeing an opportunity to finish Osborne who he hates. He's probably done that. The problem is that IDS is another one who just doesn't get the reality of life for many people.

No he doesn't - that's the big problem with him. He could be told that it matters, he could intellectually understand, but he has never in his life known anybody who has to get from a Thursday to a Monday with the money that's in their purse.

Tell you what, if you want to look a real, out of control monster, do a bit of research into our national 'debt.'
Its origin (in 1694), the reasons, the parties involved, the historical context since, and how much interest we pay at present.
Eye opening stuff.
The national debt is a joke something like £1.5 trillion and over £50 billion in interest payments this year alone - it can never be repaid and is another big con. I'd like to see a British goverment say that's it fook the debt we ain't paying it back, because as I've said its just a big con.

Worth noting that now they've backtracked on the cuts to PIP, there's a big hole in Osborne's three day old budget. Something will have to fill that hole.
