I take it that's aimed at me which is rich coming from someone who wants to imprison innocent people,however I'll explain.
I don't particularly like Eubank who i find to be extremely odd,he's been living a seudo life as some sort of upper class white aristocrat as he clearly dislikes his black heritage,I mean who on earth buys a gentlemanly title other than a self absorbed c@nt?
He was convicted of killing a man while driving dangerously and got away with a small fine ffs,wonder what would have happened if that had been Joe Bloggs.
He never stopped criticising the sport for being barbaric yet was happy to take the 30 pieces of silver on offer as he continued to fight.He could have kept his son well out of it yet couldn't resist being the centre of attention once again.
The blokes a hypocrite who is just in love with himself.
When his wife left him his words were "you'll never meet another man like me", to which she replied "thank fcuk for that"😂
As for his son,his lack of personality and arrogance is very difficult to like meaning he'll always create huge support for who ever he fights.
Give me Benn all day long,he may have been a thug but at least he realised the error of his ways and made a positive change. |

Just actually watched the fight.
No doubt Blackwell took a helluva lot of punishment over the course of the fight. I didn't think he could move his head out of the way by the 7th round. Nearly every punch was getting him straight in the head. I don't know how many heavy right uppercuts straight to the head. I found it uncomfortable viewing by the end. |  | | |

again i hope blackwell pulls thru..a brave lad...very brave.
many had a go at the ref for the froch/groves stoppage first fight, it's a no win. blackwell never went down or took a count but was a bloody mess from his nose. eubank has a wicked uppercut and used it to great effect v sullivan, his last fight. if they ban licenced boxing there will be more injuries and god knows what. |  | | |

Watched it back again. Felt it was difficult to fault the refs handling of the fight. Blackwell was fighting back and protecting himself, throughout. He didn't look stunned, he didn't look vastly outclassed but was losing and starting to soak up increasing punishment by round 8 and 9 which the ref had noted and was watching the damage. When he got badly marked up above the eye - which was late in the fight the ref called the doctor in. Can't see that he could have justifiably called the fight over much before that. |  |

Well, I reckon he acts like he does as much for attention therefore money as much as anything else. If he wants to wear a monocle and carry a cane, it's not the end of the world (although I doubt you'll find me doing it anytime soon), at least he's interesting.
As for being a hypocrite, we all are at times. I could criticise a tonne of things and still take the money happily. I mean, you're average fella is born, it's not easy to get rich which is what everybody wants. If you realise you have the guts and the God given talent to become champion of the world, and probably not the brains to do much else, I don't think you can blame him for doing it and taking the money. Who wouldn't?
Same goes for getting his son involved. Hard to resist. Not only will he be earning plenty of readies, his son is the British champion. Can you imagine if that was your son? I'd die of pride.
In love with himself, well I'm in love with myself and I'd be a helluva lot worse if I was champion of the world. Champion of the world at fighting; if that's not an ego boost, I don't know what is.
And no doubt, telling his own son to avoid the head was a real class act. I wouldn't have said that (without hindsight).
Ps Ok, not going into the car crash, that wasn't good to say the least. If I was in that poor guys family, I doubt I'd be defending him. | | | |
