The Official Middlesbrough FC Versus Swansea City PL Match Thread on 16:44 - Dec 17 by Smellyplumz | Every reason I follow this club has gone except that it's just round the corner. Every one gone. |
Fair enough, but I have to make a 210 mile round trip for every home game but I'm sure there are folk who travel much further than that.

I'm getting fed up of this Groundhog Day every 7 days, it's like watching a bad movie on repeat. Then in the meantime we can sack the board, sack the manager, sack the players who don't care and then rebuild.

I must have misinterpreted your reply to Morningstar then as l thought you was having a go because you thought he was being negative, if you wasn't as you were and my apologies

I know of somebody from Brighton who travels by train once by car, just to go to the Liberty and does it only if he has the money. Saw him after the Man City game (the 1-1), with his other half and said if then Americans turn our club into a joke, he's not travelling all that way.

Can't blame him at all. You can only bang your head on a wall so many times before it dawns on you that stopping is good idea. And this is just as painful. [Post edited 17 Dec 2016 16:57]

The Official Middlesbrough FC Versus Swansea City PL Match Thread on 16:47 - Dec 17 by 3swan | He is not the manager 100% agree but bad decisions over the last few years have got us to where we are today. We managed to paper over the cracks and the 'myth' continued. We are what we are and I can't see any manager being able to turn the team around enough without at least 4 players, Will that money be made available, imo a big NO |
Even there was significant money Bob won't be able to attract the right players. F*cked we are. There'll be no money anyway so a moot point

It's not but that's what many do in this over-hyped league, not just at our club. There was a comment in the week that the Chinese league money will ruin football. No comment about what the Sky Premier league has been doing for years

Good post!!. I have been in exactly the same mindset as I only purchase match day tickets and have not bought one this season. That Man City game was my last to date also. I've been told to go anyway as I'm local and enjoy the Gallows Humour from the crowd chanting (You greedy bastards isn't Gallows at all), but that isn't worth listening to for the price of a ticket and a pie. I'd rather save it for when I go to Budapest in April. [Post edited 17 Dec 2016 17:03]
