Joshua v Klitshko on 23:18 - Apr 29 by blueytheblue | Do you rate Parker? Not seen anything in performances I've seen that stands out as being close to Joshua, Klitschko's level. |
Can’t say I do, but you never know — it’s hard to really judge boxers until they actually get to fight each other.

Joshua v Klitshko on 23:20 - Apr 29 by Nirvana | Yeah, I agree with most of what you've said but I think Vlad is smart enough to see the writing on the wall here. In hindsight, he should've retired before the Fury fight. I think he understands that, and doesn't want to end his career with 3 losses in a row. But again, I hope I'm wrong, as that was a great fight. (edit: and I'd actually pay to see the rematch) [Post edited 29 Apr 2017 23:22]

The Fury fight was a bad style matchup though - Klitschko over his career imo got sloppy. He;d been knocked down quite a few times early on in his career, they carefully developed that fight off back foot, jab and hold style. I think because it was successful, he grew over-reliant upon that, trying to out muscle opponents. Fury just did exactly the same, meaning Klitschko was thrown off his gameplan. This fight, he went away from that style and fought one of his best fights in years. Two judges had Joshua ahead, one Klitschko. It was close enough for Klitschko to certainly deserve a rematch. The only consideration he'd have would be that destructive 11th round.

There is a rematch 'clause' Doesn't mean there HAS to be a rematch
Joshua v Klitshko on 23:30 - Apr 29 with 1003 views | skippyjack | The fight was a clear financial and political showpiece for everyone to congregate and w*nk each other off for self fulfilment purposes.. It's like a bunch of locusts combusting over a facade belief 'to be cool' and act all social. My personal triumph and aim would've been to jump in the middle of the ring and take a rasping brown sh*t.

I would agree. I genuinely thought Vlad was going to close it out before the 11th. Shocking, and fantastic drama. Great fight. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I just look at Parker, what I've seen is a ot of fights against utter unknowns or fourty somethings. Some questionable late blows when opponents down on one knee. Admittedly didn't see entire fight, what I saw Ruiz clearly won that fight. Hughie Fury fight fell away, of the options they kept Parker away from Tyson ( workout video recently came out, he loooked around 300lbs ), Deontay Wilder and Breazaele in favour of fighting Cojanu. Wilder would have schooled him, way above the quality of any other fighter. Breazeale would have been an interesting fight to see how Parker compares to Joshua. When I look at fights I tend to see what their floor is, what their ceiling is. We know Joshua's floor is "world title contender", ceiling could on one of the all time greats. Parker it's more difficult to assess as his opponents have been poor or past it. I'd assess his floor as being incredibly minor title holder but what's his ceiling? I've seen nothing to indicate he could comfortably trouble the like of Klitschko, Joshua et al. Granted you can say that about most heavies... I suspect at best Parker will be a mid level heavy.

I consider it to be a criminal activity.. since when has beating somebody to a pulp been considered socially acceptable by millions of people? Are people genocidial psychopathic maniacs should be the question on every humans lips.. instead they rather glorify violence like gloryfing people's heads being chopped off in the old Roman blood bowl to seduce their semantically driven psycho sex drive for fulfilment. But well done Joshua.. you secretly driven psychopathic b*stard! Viva le reevo loot shun.

Joshua v Klitshko on 23:44 - Apr 29 with 875 views | max936 | Wilder looks a lot more leaner and flexible, I really think Josh needs to stay off the weights that work is done and concentrate on being more agile and work more on his punching angles and fitness, lactic acid took its toll on him tonight on times.
