Union Jack Army on 21:42 - Nov 7 by Gowerjack | Oh good a flag thread. Swansea Loyalists.. The usual mouth breathers we've been cursed with for donkeys years. Carry on. |
Now here’s the thing, Gwyr, the chap that had the Swansea Loyal flag made is an Engineer who has worked and lived all over Europe and both speaks and writes, the last time I caught up with him, fluently in four or five languages. What was the phrase you used, ‘mouth breathers?’ Is that the same as a knuckle-dragger - i.e. stupid? Push down as hard as you like, that cap just won’t fit.

Union Jack Army on 22:03 - Nov 7 with 2617 views | Sirjohnalot | Are we seriously having a debate about someone bringing a flag to a game ? If they want to bring a Union Jack or an English flag, let them. All the anti English stuff is pathetic

The union flag in the east stand has been there for all the home games I’ve been to. And I ain’t missed a home game.

Union Jack Army on 17:06 - Nov 7 by Badlands | Apart from Swans fans from maybe England using the George Cross or Union Flag their use in connection to the Swans indicates an adherence to extremist or right-wing politics. Hate seeing these at the Liberty. |
No wounder we are a small club and Cardiff draw in fans from around Swansea and within

Union Jack Army on 22:49 - Nov 7 with 2549 views | BytholWyn | Swansea have had a loyalist following for donkey's years. It seems a bit of a bizarre connection. I can understand some of the big Premier League clubs in North-West England having a loyalist following - but little ol' Swansea? What the hell is that all about?

Union Jack Army on 08:31 - Nov 8 with 2434 views | Chief | From my experience of seeing Union jacks at Swans games, its either with older heads who liked a scrap back in the day trying to be Chelsea or someone and like to reminisce, or wannabe youngster hoolies now trying to follow to suit. And as such you see more of them when we play Cardiff 1- because this game brings out more of this type of old school people and 2- because some bring it to wind them up. Its not the type of flag you see 'scarfers' or families taking to Swans matches.

Politics politics politics, needs to be kept out of all the good things in life like football, music, travelling, clubs etc....it’s poison and there is a good reason why the people (and I use this term for a human person loosely) who get into it and possibly become one are all poisoned themselves...... |
Not my flag mate, but the chap who threatened to rip it down was either insane or on drugs.

Well I sit opposite it and there’s a big fcuk off Union Jack in the east stand every game. It’s not at the back but further to the front, opposite the mangers dugout.
