I think we won 3 or 4 - 1 last time I went there. Tooze turned up with a party of gentlemen and walloped them round the road for a bit before they gave up and we all went for a friendly beer. Our good friend a young Stephen Lennon was present, seemed to be the main chap even then. They promised to come down for the home game and...

I think they did turn up in numbers around 2002 & caused trouble in a Skewen social club (or some such place) before the game. Must have been division 3 days.
After the game about 100 + of their finest charged down Glamorgan Street and, in a surprise attack, gave our boys a bit of a tuning from what I've heard.
Don't underestimate their unpleasant following - they once, famously, done over Millwall in a similar ambush in London. |  | | |

I remember watching that Millwall game on the telly, the Millwall fans caused ructions up there, seats were ripped out of the stand, they were on the pitch kicking off with the Luton fans and police, I don’t think I had ever seen anything that bad on a TV before.
