Nothing malicious there. Boys letting off steam.

Very youthful at the lower level nowadays. The pot belly is coming back into fashion.
The steroid taking spice boy might not like that mud!

Far worse happens.
Laugharne played Pembroke Dock yesterday and they are very disadvantaged villages where Saturday afternoon sport becomes the focal point and the crowd were the issue!!!
The players looked on gob smacked as a woman threw a pint glass onto the pitch after a linesman started some nonsense.
The husband had to dash onto field and grab her wife and escort her home!!!

I was involved in quite a well reported rugby incident with Treorchy in the early 80’s it ended up as a very bizarre event.

Derek Bevan was reffing, Chris Jones the Treorchy hooker received either his second or third ban “Sine Die” Following the WRU disciplinary hearing.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

Only issue with that is the Cambrian (Red) 3 putting the boot in for me.

Other than that, just a standard Rhondda derby.

When my mate Steve Evans-Tilt-swapped punch ups on the terraces at NP to go and play Rugby for Ystrad and later Treorchy, I asked him why he'd stopped coming to the football. His answer was simple 'It's Legalised Violence'.

In my experience, rugby heads always try to take the moral high ground over football. I've sen fighting at St Helens and the Gnoll, at internationals too. I've seen disgusting drunken behaviour by players and fans yet it's hardly ever reported.
As soon as something untoward happens at football it's front page news.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I went to watch Ystrad Rhondda at one. The tournament was abandoned because there was so much scrapping. All the supporters got on great tbf and were laughing, while the commentator was going ballistic over the tannoy, telling everyone to calm down.

Played against Clydach Sports a good few years ago when a mass brawl broke out amongst the players and the mother of one of the Sports players ran on and started hitting me over the head with an umbrella

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

What do you call rugby heads? The Welsh media are the worst for reporting on the rugby fans fighting, labelling it as hi-jinx or not reporting it at all. Most rugby players will tell you they're not averse to the odd punch up. You've obviously got the rugby snob supporters who wear rose tinted glasses, but there's a damn sight more football snobs about. I love both games myself, and there's good and bad in both.

Not much wrong with it but Nigel Owens can get off his high horse with his “this is not soccer” nonsense when stuff like that goes on.

Carmarthen Athletic v Carmarthen Quins could be tasty but even more tasty off field, especially at youth level.
Items ranging from kebabs to mini metro used to fight the enemy!

It was his third 'Sine Die'. Chris is a surprisingly bright guy, but was obsessed with Rugby. Turned down going to University to work on the roads to "keep his muscles big"

Yes, that was a bit naughty. Other than that a punch up was pretty traditional in a Treorchy game in the 70s and 80s, especially with Ystrad, Treherbert or Penygraig. Although Mountain Ash also seemed to particularly despised in my brief late 70s mini-Rugby days for the Zebras. Decided after 4 weeks Sunday morning training that bed was a better place. As a Cwmparc boy I was too intimated as everyone else went to Treorchy primary,

Instead I just spent most Saturday nights from 16-23 there with the legend that was Norman 'Duke' Buckland.

Fair play to Kevin Moseley, he was limited but stood his ground.
I bet he's a good teacher and rounded bloke now.
