Not the only club to make that move. A sad state of affairs really you'll end up with very few academies left. There obviously needs to be a bigger incentive to run academies. If the EFL gets their way and brings in the new rules around squad size and home grown etc we may also need a rethink. | |

And as insensitive as it sounds, it’ll be good news for us that another local academy has gone, with their kids now looking for another local club to join.
