Happy League 2021/22 Week 15 (of 38) - Deadline Saturday 13th November 15.00 20:28 - Nov 6 with 1313 viewsmfb_cufc

Week 14 results

BRENTFORD 1 NORWICH CITY 2

Norwich picked up their first Premier League win of the season at the 11th time of asking by beating Brentford, who have now lost four league games in a row for the first time in five years. Incredibly after this win Norwich sack manager Daniel Farke. All I can say is what the Farke is going on here. Only 2 got this spot-on, and 1 more had the outcome. 23 predicted a win for Brentford.

CRYSTAL PALACE 2 WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 0
Palace stretch their unbeaten Premier League run to six matches with this victory. 3 had this spot-on, and a further 18 got the outcome with 14 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

BARNSLEY 0 HULL CITY 2
Hull ended a run of five successive Championship defeats as their first away goals since the opening day of the season gave them victory against their fellow strugglers. Nobody got this spot-on, but 3 did have the outcome. 17 predicted a win for Barnsley.

AFC BOURNEMOUTH 4 SWANSEA CITY 0
Championship leaders Bournemouth got back to winning ways with a clinical victory. Nobody had this spot-on, though 24 did get the outcome.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST 3 PRESTON NORTH END 0
Forest continued their ascent of the Championship table under boss Steve Cooper with a convincing win. Again no 3 pointer for anybody, but 18 did have the outcome.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION 1 MIDDLESBROUGH 1
West Brom kept their unbeaten Championship home record intact but were denied three points by stubborn Middlesbrough. It proved the last act of boss Neil Warnock's tenure at the Riverside. No points for anybody here as everyone predicted a win for West Brom.

It was a week that looked good for the home teams, and even though three did win, it proved to be yet another difficult one for point scoring. With four games failing to have a 3 pointer, and the other two only producing five, it was the worst week for 3 pointers since the same Week 14 last season. At least the total 64 outcomes saved everybody from getting the dreaded blank. Those five 3 pointers were shared out with five members getting one each. The best of those five was BFG, who had the Norwich 2-1, and durham_exile, who got the Palace 2-0. They both also had three outcomes to give them a decent 6 points, and a share of being the weeks top scorer.

Champions League A latest look at how the qualifying for this seasons competition is going. The member in that eleventh and final qualifying spot is GOSBTS with his 56 points. The fact he is ninth in Division One shows just how much that league is continuing to dominate things this season.

In the Premier The star performer in this division was Blue4U2, as he was the only one to get a 3 pointer, the Norwich 2-1. It was not enough to get him off the bottom, but he is now within 2 points of safety. Leader RSCOSWORTH has now gone six weeks without a 3 pointer, but on such a low scoring week, his three outcomes maintained his 4 point lead. The only changes in this division has TheFatGooner and noah4x4 both moving up a place. Another member to go six weeks without a 3 pointer is sevebalo, and he drops to season low sixth place.

In Division One It is all about outcomes at the top of this league, and the two for wessex_exile took him to the summit on the first to post rule from last weeks leader Tropical_Us. The three outcomes for Lewis_1 took him to within a point of the top. Two outcomes each for gerry_us and medicine_man keeps them both in a play-off spot. Three outcomes for Pinault_Noir moved him back into a play-off place after a week away. Just losing out on the most 3 pointer rule is MrHappy2 after he moved up two places, thanks to having the Palace 2-0 spot-on. The only other members on an upward move were the weeks two top scorers, BFG and durham_exile, who both went up a couple of places. The final member to get a 3 pointer this week was burnsieespana, who got the Palace 2-0.

THE TABLES (100 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
