Week 26 results

HULL CITY 2 SWANSEA CITY 0

A comfortable victory for Hull, to give them a third straight win. 4 got this spot-on, and a further 14 had the outcome.

MIDDLESBROUGH 1 COVENTRY CITY 0
Andraz Sporar's second-half goal moved Middlesbrough up into the play-off places. A superb 6 had this spot-on, and another 17 got the outcome, with 14 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

PRESTON NORTH END 2 BRISTOL CITY 2
Preston get a 95th minute equaliser, as the came from behind twice to get the draw. Well done to thrillseeker for being the only one to get this spot-on, and 4 more had the outcome. 20 predicted a win for Preston.

LINCOLN CITY 1 BURTON ALBION 2
Burton came behind to secure victory. 4 had this spot-on, and 2 more got the outcome.

BRADFORD CITY 1 CRAWLEY TOWN 2
Crawley get a 95th minute winner, as they were another team this week to come from behind to win. well done to unitedwhites for being the only one to get this spot-on, and only BFG had the outcome. 25 predicted a win for Bradford.

EXETER CITY 0 HARTLEPOOL UNITED 0
Exeter and 10-man Hartlepool ground out a bore draw in a somewhat dour encounter. No points for anybody here, as 27 predicted a win for Exeter.

This was a week where the six home teams were well supported, especially with the 2-1, that had an incredible total of 52 predictions. With no game ending that way, and only Hull and Middlesbrough being successful hosts, this turned out to be another disappointing week overall. There was a respectable total of 16 spot-ons, but only one member did well to get two. That was burnsieespana, who had the wins for Middlesbrough and Burton, and one outcome, to make him the weeks top scorer with a decent 7 points.

Happy Midweek League Cup A final reminder that the next round of games take place on Tuesday 1st February. Also the final round of games for the knockout stage qualification will be on the following Tuesday 8th February.

Happy Cup A reminder for those who have yet to post their predictions. The semi-final games take place next weekend.

In the Premier By having the Middlesbrough 1-0 spot-on TheFatGooner increases his lead by a point, as RSCOSWORTH has to settle for two outcomes. By having that good Crawley 2-1 prediction, unitedwhites continues to move closer to the top two. By getting the Burton 2-1 spot-on, ghughes11 moves up another place into the final Super Cup spot. But that is only on the most 3 pointer rule from concordman, who had the Middlesbrough 1-0 spot-on, and moves back up a place. Up two places, and back into the top half, is Sector4, after he was another to get that Middlesbrough win spot-on. At the bottom, despite firing a blank, Blue4U2 didn't lose too much ground, as the three above him could only get one outcome each.

In Division One The top spot in this league has become a real pass the parcel, as nobody seems to want to hold onto it for more than a week. This week it is blueeagle who has regained the lead again, thanks to getting the Burton 2-1 spot-on, after last being there on Week 19. Remaining in the other automatic place for the third week running is Lewis_1, as he also had that Burton win spot-on. Two outcomes for last weeks leader wessex_exile, means he drops to third. Just outcomes also for Pinault_Noir and Tropical_Us, and they remain fourth and fifth. By having that good Preston 2-2 prediction, thrillseeker remains sixth, but moves ever closer to the automatic spots. Mr consistency gerry_us has had one 3 pointer for the last six weeks, after getting the Hull 2-0, and remains seventh. The top scoring performance from burnsieepana moves him up a couple of places, and in sight of the play-offs. Even though they both drop a place, BFG and MrHappy2 still hold hopes of making the play-offs, as they each get a 3 pointer. Up a coupl;e of places , after having the Hull 2-0 spot-on, is durham_exile, to give him his highest position since Week 10.

THE TABLES (188 out of 280 played)
