Week 32 results

ROTHERHAM UNITED 3 QUEENS PARK RANGERS 1

Jordan Hugill's double eased Rotherham's Championship relegation fears and dragged QPR closer to the bottom three. Nobody got this spot-on, but 15 did have the outcome.

WIGAN ATHLETIC 1 BIRMINGHAM CITY 1
Birmingham were forced to settle for a draw with Championship strugglers Wigan, after squandering a succession of second-half chances. 4 had this spot-on, and another 3 got the outcome.

CHELTENHAM TOWN 1 FLEETWOOD TOWN 0
Alfie May's stunning volley was enough to earn Cheltenham a vital win over in-form Fleetwood. Again 4 got this spot-on, and a further 6 had the outcome.

LINCOLN CITY 1 OXFORD UNITED 0
Danny Mandroiu's penalty earned Lincoln a victory, to maintain their undefeated home record, and lift them into the top half of League One. A massive 10 had this spot-on, in what the weeks most predicted score, and another 12 got the outcome.

AFC WIMBLEDON 1 MANSFIELD TOWN 3
Danny Johnson's first goal since his recall from Walsall helped Mansfield to come from behind for this win, to keep them in the hunt for the League Two play-offs. Well done to oxfcolu for being the only one to get this spot-on, and a further 17 had the outcome.

SALFORD CITY 3 NEWPORT COUNTY 1
Salford maintained their League Two promotion ambitions as they were another team to come from behind for this latest victory. Nobody had this spot-on, though 21 did get the outcome.

Quite often in the past late goals put a different complexion on games. This week was the first time It has happened for a while, as the third goals in stoppage time for Rotherham and Salford, turned what was going to be the best six game week of the season so far, with 27 spot-ons, into a respectful one, with 19 spot-ons. That was mainly down to the Lincoln 1-0 that supplied over half of those 3 pointers. With only four games having a 3 pointer three members did well to have two each. Best of those was oxfcolu, who got the wins for Cheltenham and Mansfiel, and the other four outcomes, to give him a briliant full house, making him the weeks top scorer with a fantastic 10 points. Almost matching that was wessex_exile, who had the Wigan 1-1 and the Cheltenham 1-0, and three outcomes, with only the Wimbledon game stopping him getting a full house, as he got an excellent 9 points. The final one to have two 3 pointers was unitedwhites, who got the 1-0 wins for Cheltenham and Lincoln, and one outcome, to give him a decent 7 points. Best of those to have one 3 pointer were burnsieespana and Tropical_Us, who both had the Lincoln 1-0, and four outcomes, to give them each a decent 7 points.

Midweek League Cup Details for the Semi-finals will be on the site sometime tomorrow.

In the Premier With the top two both getting four outcomes, mfb_cufc maintains a 15 point lead over thrillseeker. He also has that same advantade over noah4x4 now, after he got the Lincoln 1-0 spot-on. In fact over half this division had the win for Lincoln spot-on. It helped to keep RSCOSWORTH in the final Super Cup spot, and concordman in fifth. The decent week for unitedwhites moved him up a couple of places, and back into the top half again. Things have been tight in this mid-group for a number of weeks now, and just to emphasize that Sector4 drops a place with his 6 points, and ghughes11 moved up a place, with the same 6 points. All of this means it is blueeagle who is now one above the relegation places. The lowest he has been since Week 8. I said last week, with time running out fast, that wessex_exile was going to require some big weeks if was to avoid the drop. Well he certainly did that this week, and things are even better, when I have given him the 5 points I inadvertently left off last week. I apologize to him for that. He was given the 5 points on the weeks score, but they were not added to his outcomes or total points. It now means he has the same number of points as Daniel, but with only 48 games left to the season, there is still a big 14 point gap to close if either are going to avoid the drop.

In Division One By having the Lincoln 1-0 spot-on, Moor_Pinot has now opend up a decent 10 point lead at the top. One outcome was enough for GOSBTS to cling on to the other automatic spot, but things have tightened up again in this league, as he is only there on the most 3 pointer rule, from bwildered, who moved up a place to his highest ever position, as Madeira163 drops back to fourth. Just when it looked like all the good early season form was going to waste for oxfcolu, he comes back with a fantastic week, that moved him three places to fifth, and only 3 points from the top two. Two outcomes were enough for Lewis_1 to remain in the play-offs. The decent week for burnsieespana was not quite enough for him to make the top six, as he takes his run of being either 7th or 8th to 13 weeks. The decent week for Tropical_Us keeps the play-offs in sight for him.

THE TABLES (232 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
