Week 11 results

BLACKPOOL 3 STEVENAGE 0

Jordan Rhodes' seventh goal of the season helped Blackpool secure a well-deserved victory. Nobody got this spot-on, but 15 did have the outcome.

CAMBRIDGE UNITED 1 SHREWSBURY TOWN 1
Shrewsbury get an 88th minute equaliser, after Michael Morrison had scored his first Cambridge goal since January 23rd 2007, with their only shot on target. A super 6 had this spot-on, and nobody got the outcome. 18 predicted a win for Cambridge.

CARLISLE UNITED 0 LEYTON ORIENT 1
Ruel Sotiriou's fifth goal of the season earned improving Orient this latest win, as Carlisle only manage one shot on target. 4 got this spot-on, and 2 more had the outcome.

AFC WIMBLEDON 0 BRADFORD CITY 1
A goal from substitute Emmanuel Osadebe continued Bradford's revival under caretaker player-manager Kevin McDonald as Wimbledon's troubles on home turf continued. Nobody had this spot-on, and only unitedwhites and burnsieespana got the outcome. Despite only winning once at home this season 22 predicted a win for Wimbledon with 12 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

GRIMSBY TOWN 0 ACCRINGTON STANLEY 2
Accrington secured victory with their only two shots on target, after taking advantage of Grimsby going down to 10 men. Well done to basher2010 for being the only one to get this spot-on, and another 4 had the outcome.

WREXHAM 3 SALFORD CITY 2
Goals in the 88th and 89th minutes gave Wrexham victory after coming from two goals down. Plenty of goals predicted in this game, with three members going for unprecedented 4-2, but is well done to noah4x4 for being the only one to have it spot-on, and a further 22 got the outcome.

The last time we had an International break in Week 6, those fixtures had Orient winning away, Wimbledon losing at home, and Wrexham getting a late winner at home. Perhaps the clues were there, as all three teams repeat those results this week. That Week 6 was the worst 6 game week of the season at the time, and this week has now become the new worst 6 game week of the season. So these International break weeks do turn out to be tough, and it could have been worse if it wasn't for the late late show from Wrexham saving six members from firing blanks. Only a total of 12 spot-ons, so two members did well to get 2. They were unitedwhites, who got the Cambridge 1-1 and the Orient 1-0, and three outcomes, to make him the weeks top scorer, with a brilliant 9 points. Only failing to get the Accrington win to give him a full house. Also basher2010, who had the Cambridge 1-1 to go with the good Accrington 2-0 prediction, and two outcomes to give him an excellent 8 points. Best of those to get one 3 pointer was Lewis_1, who had the Cambridge 1-1, and three outcomes to give him a decent 6 points. The two 0-1's this week make that the seasons top result with 11. Two ahead of the 1-1, that continues to make up for a slow start to the season.

Happy Cup The draw for the FA Cup 1st Round takes place tomorrow. Once the 4th Qualifying Round replays have been played, the Happy Cup draw and 1st Round fixtures will follow sometime after.

In the Premier Having the Orient 1-0 spot-on made sure of concordman maintaining his decent lead, but it was reduced by a point as the top scoring performance from unitedwhites continued his good recent run, and he moved up a couple of places into second. That means the six week run in second comes to an end for ghughes11. The good Wrexham 3-2 prediction moves noah4x4 up a place to fifth. Having the Cambridge 1-1 spot-on moved blueeagle up a place, and into the top half for the first time since Week 1. At the bottom Moor_Pinot and Sector4 both had the Cambridge 1-1 spot-on, to improve their positions by a place. But with oxfcolu on the same number of points, it is only the most 3 pointer rule separating them. This leaves me with the unfortunate situation regarding GOSBTS. He has now failed to post his predictions for the last four weeks. I have sent PM reminders, that have not been read, so I can only hope he is well. One of the few rules we have is anybody failing to post their predictions four weeks in a row, will be dismissed from all Happy League competitions. This rule came about because a member by the name of Fishface only posted his predictions in the Happy Cup, and he won it. That is certainly not the intention of GOSBTS, but with Happy Cup draw due to take place, I have no option other than to dismiss him from that competition. I will keep him suspended from the Happy League Premier for the time being.

In Division One Two outcomes were just enough for Daniel to remain top, but it is only by a point from basher2010, whose excellent week moved him up three places for the second week in a row, and into the other automatic spot, only on the most 3 pointer rule from wessex_exile, whose four week run in the top two comes to an end. By having the Orient 1-0 spot-on, TheRams moved a point nearer the top, but also drops a place. As does Tropical_Us in fifth. Three outcomes for Jorash63 moves him up a couple of places, and into a play-off place for the first time. Other members making an upward move were Lewis_1, whose decent week moved him up three places, and only two points from the play-offs, and gerry_us, who moved up a place after getting the Orient 1-0 spot on.

THE TABLES (78 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
