Week 12 results

AFC BOURNEMOUTH 1 WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 2

Wolves get an 88th minute winner, as they came from behind to beat 10-man Bournemouth. 4 got this spot-on, and 4 also had the outcome. There were 11 who predicted a 1-1, in what was the weeks most predicted score.

CHELSEA 2 ARSENAL 2
Arsenal staged a stunning late fightback to earn a point just as Chelsea looked about to enjoy their finest victory under manager Mauricio Pochettino. A good 4 had this spot-on, and another 3 got the outcome.

MIDDLESBROUGH 1 BIRMINGHAM CITY 0
Middlesbrough get an 89th minute winner, to give them a fifth straight victory, as Wayne Rooney suffered defeat in his first game in charge of Birmingham. 3 got this spot-on, and a further 15 had the outcome.

NORWICH CITY 2 LEEDS UNITED 3
Leeds fought back from 2-0 down, as Daniel Farke's return to Carrow Road ended in a thrilling win. Well done to basher2010 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and another 12 got the outcome.

EXETER CITY 0 WIGAN ATHLETIC 2
Wigan ended a run of four-successive defeats with a hard fought win, as they only had one shot on target, with Exeter managing to have 30 shots. Nobody got this spot-on, though 3 did get the outcome. 21 predicted a win for Exeter.

CRAWLEY TOWN 2 CREWE ALEXANDRA 4
Crawley twice let the lead slip to crash to their third successive league defeat as Crewe marked Lee Bell's 50th game in charge with a stunning victory. Nobody had this spot-on, but 9 did get the outcome.

This was certainly the week of the big comeback, with Bournemouth, Chelsea, Norwich and Crawley all leading at half-time, and only Chelsea avoiding defeat at full-time. The end result of all this was another disappointing week, with the total 12 spot-ons matching last weeks effort, and only avoid matching that worst 6 game week of the season, by getting one more outcome than last week. Despite the lack of 3 pointers again, three members did well to get two, with the best coming from Jorash63, who had the Wolves 2-1 and the Chelsea 2-2, and two outcomes, to make him the weeks top scorer for the first time, with an excellent 8 points. Also burnsieespana, who got the Chelsea 2-2 and te Middlebrough 1-0, and one outcome, to give him a very decent 7 points. Finally basher2010, who had the Middlesbrough 1-0 to go with his good Leeds 3-2 prediction, to give him a decent 6 points. Best of those to get one 3 pointer was TheRams, who had the Middlesbrough 1-0, and three outcomes to give him a decent 6 points.

Happy Cup The draw has been made for the 1st Round, and the fixtures are ready for predicting on the separate Happy Cup thread.

In the Premier Four outcomes for concordman maintained his 7 point lead, as unitedwhites matched him thanks to getting the Wolves 2-1 spot-on. At half-time going 2-1 all games looked promising for ghughes11, but the second-half comebacks for the visitors, left him with just the one outcome, but he remains third. Just two outcomes for thrillseeker, though he remains fourth, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from mfb_cufc, who moved up three places after getting five outcomes. The only other member to get a 3 pointer in this division was oxfcolu, who had the Wolves 2-1, and that enabled him to get out of the relegation zone, by moving up a couple of places. Though things remain tight with only 9 points separating 3rd to 11th.

In Division One We have a new leader, with the decent week from basher2010 continuing his good recent run, that has taken him from 9th in Week 8, to the top this week. Two outcomes for Daniel were enough for him to be in the other automatic spot, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from TheRams, who moved a place to third again. Just two outcomes for wessex_exile, and he drops another place to fourth, but only a point off second. The top scoring performance from Jorash63 moved him up another place to fifth. In the final play-off place is Tropical_Us, after he got the Chelsea 2-2 spot-on, to create a 4 point cushion to the pursuers, lead by Colukev, who also had the Chelsea 2-2 spot-on. It is now 7 weeks since BFG had a 3 pointer, but three outcomes this week did move him up a place. The decent week for burnsieespana moved him up a couple of places, as he takes advantage of Blue4U2 and Madeira163 taking their run without a 3 pointer to 5 weeks. Having the Wolves 2-1 spot-on enabled durham_exile to move closer to those above.

THE TABLES (84 out of 280 played)
(Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post)
