CUFC Women... 18:47 - Aug 22 with 519 viewswessex_exile

...are in the Premier League! Just seen a tweet confirming that the Essex County League officials have agreed to move the ladies directly into the Premier League, no doubt based on their dominance in League 2 last season. I know I had my reservations about doing this previously, but you can't fault the logic - well done CUFC Women!

Wessex I don't understand the structure.

CUFC women played in the 9th tier of women's football last season so which league are they being promoted to.

So they’re skipping League 1 (I guess the 8th tier?) and going straight to the Essex Women’s Premier League (the 7th tier).

Thanks Wessex.
All clear now.

Wish them well.

Colchester women’s cricketers have just been confirmed Champions of the Essex Women’s Premier League. Wouldn’t it be great if Col U women made it a double?
