Fleetwood game in doubt on 23:13 - Sep 24 by mfb_cufc
Correct. Their game from the last International break was postponed.
The rules are what they are, but all of the four called up or on standby last time were youth players from their academy, none had even made a first team debut. Looks like Charlie Adam enjoys the occasional Saturday off?
Absolutely no respect for real supporters. The poxy nations league is just a complete waste of time, designed to squeeze the last drop of profit out of football, and it's also the reason we cannot have replays in the FA Cup anymore.
The top two divisions have to have a forced break, which should cover almost all the home nations internationals. Any team that employs players from tin pot foreign country deserve to be punished as the price for not employing English players.
Fleetwood boast that they recruit players from abroad, so why do Col U fans have to suffer because the opponents have no loyalty or patriotism?
How many hard working decent people, who look forward to their football outing on a Saturday will not be able to make the mid-week game?
It's broken I tell you...

I agree. The rearranged game will probably be on a Tuesday night and it might come on the back of a long away trip on the Saturday. We are now at a disadvantage, as a club, because of the players Fleetwood chose to recruit. Why can't they be the ones that suffer?

Just been announced, definitely postponed.
I think a good time to have a weekend off.
I know it means a Tuesday night match but Fleetwood are on fire at present so a free weekend and time to regroup and practice those set pieces and for DC to decide on his best XI which he has yet to confirm will only help us as a club.

We’re a month and a half into the season and we need a weekend off!!!!!!
What odds it’ll be a Tues in January and it’ll be called off a hour before kick off due to a frozen pitch. It’s a total farce, but as long as the Fa, EFL and Sky can make their fortune, that’s all that matters.
I blame the EU and the asylum seekers.

Maybe not a bad call after all - I see on the OMB that not only have both Aaron Donnelly and Jamie McDonnell been called up for the N Ireland U21s, but Lyle Taylor has now been called up by Montserrat. He'll miss the BSM game at Orient next Tuesday as a result.
It’s broken, the game is run by tossers that just don’t care.
Add to this the fact that EUFA have threatened to ban English clubs from Europe if we bring in a football regulator and it’s clear that they only care about one thing.
