All in all, an okay set of results if I'm honest. Notts County and Donny won, Walsall, Bradford and AFC Wimbledon all drew and Crewe lost to keep us in 8th place with a marginally superior goal difference. Salford, Chesterfield and Fleetwood refuse to give up on their fading hopes, and all won. Salford have a game in hand, which might add to the significance of our trip there at the end of April. |  |

For me the results couldn't have gone much worse for us really especially with Salford and Chesterfield both winning as well. I would've much preferred a Crewe victory than a Port Vale one but very few people seemed to understand my logic and/or agree with me. Last week I would say the odds were for us getting into the Play-Offs, it was still in our own hands, but now I think they're very much against us and will take a massive, massive effort. Five wins, or even four wins, from seven, especially given who we've got to play, seems like a huge ask now. |  |

Much depends on the return of Samson Tovide.
He above all others has been badly missed.
Whilst Lyle Taylor is everyone's hero he has lost the Midas touch and Samson cannot return soon enough.
Rob Hunt has been the weak link at the back notwithstanding
the error by Flanagan against Grimsby.
It was the Grimsby game that has really hurt us. Still 21 points to play for and the leading clubs all have challenging fixtures.
Win at the Priestfield and things will look much brighter. Automatic has gone but the play offs are still alive.
