Having a famous brother can’t be easy. Especially if that brother is a world-class sports star and you, put simply, aren’t. In fact, there’s a good chance you could end up playing for Macclesfield Town. Over the years, my club has signed a fair few siblings of the rich and famous.
Last year we had Francois Kompany, brother of Manchester City’s Vincent. In 2002-2003 we signed Martin Nash, a Canadian international midfielder, but definitely still second fiddle to his basketball-megastar bro Steve Nash.
