I'd bite his arm off if he wanted the job! Simple equation - with him we have a chance -I can't think of any other realistic target who could turn this around!!!

Why do people think Redknapp will be any less mercenary about our fine club than Hughes is? And his record isn't that good. I liken wanting Redknapp to wanting syphillus. 5 points adrift I think we're too late.

'Arry is such a bloody flirt. Think he would probably keep us up but I dont think its a good idea for long term future/stability of the club.

Cos he has a proven track record in the prem with WH, Portsmouth and Spurs. His record on the transfer market isn't actually that bad either. At WHU he bought low and sold high and pulled out pants down on Trev and Impey.

He's a motivator and would get the confidence back into the players.

I don't think he is good tactically.

From what we've seen in 2012 Kevin Keegan is better than Hughes tactically!!!

His tactics of attack attack attack would be better given our defence, they aren't working on defence anyway

I said earlier that he has managed to create a team that can't defend or attack!! It's f*ck1ng genius really.

How you can take 25 very good players and spend 5 months training then not to play football!!!!

Vincent Kompany said Hughes was a good manager, but then he seemed desperate to say something positive about everything and everybody.

I suppose he owes him as Hughes bought him to the Prem - as he likes to tell anyone who'll listen! Samba too apparently!!

The thing I find odd are all those players who like playing for him - Santa Cruise, Bellamy, onouha, SWP, Nelson, Zamora and Johnson etc!! They've all followed him to a couple of clubs so MUST like playing for him! I know a couple of those we would now say only want the cash or perhaps weren't any good but not all of them.

MOTD on 00:22 - Nov 18 with 4344 viewsTGRRRSSS

Nelson is 35 and we were probably his best offer at this stage, he was at Blackburn well before Hughes. I get your point but don't think it's overly relevent becuase players are to an extent realists, and pragmatic, they'll go where it suits them and if money is primary concern and Hughes can offer it, or they fancy living in such and such a place maybe they'll take it. I dare say Zamora didn't fancy heading to Stoke say for less money than stay in WL under Hughes at QPR

MOTD on 00:27 - Nov 18 with 4321 viewsEalingHoop81

Yep I see that too but also think if he's as bl00dy awful as he seems to be that one dose would be enough. e.g. Zamora wouldn't play for Jol again. The players won't be enjoying any of this and I presume wouldn't chose to play for a guy with the management skills of a grape!!

MOTD on 00:32 - Nov 18 with 4288 viewsTGRRRSSS

I take the point but he's getting worse as he goes through his managerial career (Wales aside but that was different kind of job) Zamora and Jol had previous from Spurs and if you don't get on with sonmone you don't get one with them, it happens in life, Hughes did well elsewhere - especially at Blackburn, but that was the pinnacle really.
I've no idea why it's gone so badly wrong but these players aren't working for him, whatever they say, and if there are splits in the club then it doesn't look likely Hughes or his team are going to be able to heal it, as there is a good chance they are part of the problem.
Put it this Hughes and co got us into this, so how likely is it they get us out of it.
Maybe he just doesn't suit QPR, like Harry at Soton (fans hated him from get go as he was Pompey)

Reminds me of the song today. How long before we start singing it again if he takes charge?

only here for the money, only here for the money.

Not defending Hughes though.

Are we talking about the same Harry Redknapp that half of the nation wanted as England manager a few months back? Is it the same Harry Redknapp that took a talented team of players from bottom of the table to a top 4 finish when he took over at Spurs? If so then I cannot see how this man could not improve our current situation.

It was also interesting when he was giving his views on the previous WBA and Chels game with the throwaway remark "NOT one up front" talking about the Chels tactics of just playing Sturridge.

Please can we have a manager who plays TWO strikers. ! As I said a couple of weeks ago, offer Harry a "keep us up" challenge to the end of the season with a bonus if he is successful - he would also bring Clive Allen and Les Ferdinand (and Joe Jordan) as his coaching team - both Rangers through and through and maybe they could take over when Harry retires.
And Harry wouldn't get anywhere near the finances - Phil Beard would make sure of that.
Lets also not forget that many of our players have a resale value so there could be January strenghthenings with outgoings.

One observation I made from watching MOTD was that most teams have this idea that when they cross the ball in from the wing they must have 3 or 4 players in the box waiting for it. What a strange idea!

Ridiculous! I think you'll find the MH approach of lulling the opposition into a false sense of security by us putting no-one into the box and giving them the chance to score an own-goal is much more effective........... it just requires meticulous preparation and time to gel.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

We have a manager that plays two strikers and we are bottom of the league, and have been overun countless times in midfield by teams playing 4-2-3-1 against us. Just because the personal does not say forward does not mean we are not playing 4-4-2
