My dad's 30 year old 2 touch record football record went on Saturday amongst 20 kids on Greenstead...one kid won 16 in a row....he cried ! x

Where was the book sale?

Walked around the ground seeking a genial happy man with a pile of books and pockets full of cash - but nowhere to be seen.

Bought a programme instead.

Sad to say a printing error has delayed the release.....but to keep you interested...here's another excerpt.....

....On entering the bar area, the Kelly brothers and Mr Happy were donning Stoke city Tracksuits that Lou Macari (then manager) had already sent a search party out for,,,,surely not a theft in the camp ???.....comments of a cheap lower league mentality were made,,,,I did not respond.....I had received as a gift. (or so i thought).
