Exclusive Interview with Chris Wathan (Wales Online Football Correspondent) 16:35 - Aug 13 with 5990 viewsswansfc

Hi all

Some of the Welsh press and reporters have received some criticism during the Summer for some of the articles they have published.

We've interviewed Chris Wathan and asked for his thoughts about this matter and more.

Loved the "check and double check" comment.

Like when they claimed Chievo were in La Liga. Or we were playing Athletic Madrid. Or when Terry Phillips on twitter and in online article claimed Man City made a late bid for Medel - El Tel backtracking on twitter claiming he hadn't said it was a fact, just a rumour he'd heard.

Don't know what it's like from your side, but since the leaks left the club the so called journos have absolutely nothing hence stealing anything from mbs, twitter etc.

Poll: 94th minute; Medel does Charlie Adam, causing a career ending injury. Do you..

Tis indeed, annointed with the Ankles tag by Steve Borley, from memory.

Is the correct answer. Unless he's changed allegiance since school anyway.

Chris wathan was probably among the more careful of the local journalists. Wales online was in general not as guilty as their competitor

Chris Wathan has always been very fair with us and talks a lot of sense. He is not there to be a biased supporter he is attempting to give fans a different perspective.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

He said on talksport a few weeks ago that he thought Laudrup would be gone by the start of the season. I wonder if that opinion was rooted in rumour or truth.

‘……. like a moth to Itchy’s flame ……’

"Do you support a particular football club and does this make it more difficult to be subjective with your reports?"

I think you mean more difficult to be objective, not subjective.
