So here we are again, another year older, another year wiser, as the titans of Italy and Spain go head-to-head in the $ky Snouts-in-the-Trough final. Our contenders are as follows:
Gate16 v The Net (for the trophy)
Sector4 v RS Cosworth (for 3rd/4th place)
Your predictions are required for the following categories at the end of 90 minutes (not extra-time, not penalties), and this will be as recorded by BBC Sport at the time:

H) Total red cards in the game - ditto (two yellows will count as two yellows and one red)
TB) The minute of the first substitution - The tie-break question. In the event of a draw on points, as always a spot-on result vs an outcome plus other points will always win. Otherwise, closest to the correct answer on either side wins all. In the very unlikely event even this can't come up with a winner, I'll think something else up.
The only only questions you can't match exactly on are (A) and (TB), so whilst there is no other advantage to predicting first, predicting last may mean having to change predictions.
In the interest of fair play, please PM me your predictions - if there are any conflicts I will PM you back asap - and only go public on actual predictions once both have posted, and even then only in the hours approaching the kick-off on Saturday evening. Deadline is kick-off, as shown on the U'sual time stamp on a PM when compared to 19:45.

Okay - even though the kick-off is delayed, I fear that very unfortunately we have no-show from The Net for his place in the final. I will exercise judgement should he show up very very soon, but otherwise it looks like it may be a procession for Gate16.

Guys - sorry blown my big moment! I did check in earlier in the week and then I was away for a few days with business and forgot totally!
For what it's worth I've put money on "someone" winning in extra time at odds of 6/1 - I thought that's where the value was! So I see it's 1 - 0 - so well done gate on victory.

Well, we have confirmed results in both matches, but first the BBC Sport stats that count:
A) Result = Juve 1-3 Barca
B) Goal scorers = Rakitic; Morata; Suarez; Neymar
C) Attempts on target = 14
D) Attempts off target = 17
E) Corners = 14
F) Fouls = 36
G) Yellow cards = 3
H) Red cards = 0
TB) First substitution = 78
With The Net turning up unavoidably late, the suggestion was extended to Gate16 to allow The Net's predictions to stand, though my view was to void his score prediction (a goal had already been scored), a -2 penalty for posting late, and any tie-break situation automatically defaulting to Gate16.
To his tremendous credit, Gate did respond when finally on-line that he was happy to allow The Net's predictions on those terms, which was a risky decision given The Net at one point still did get very close to the title. However, with 1pt for the outcome, 1pt for a goalscorer, 1pt for being within 1 of attempts off-target, 2pts for being spot-on for corners, and 2pts for being spot-on for red cards, Gate16 is a very worthy and honourable winner of the 2015 U'sual Champions League.
Commiserations to The Net, who performed brilliantly to get to the final, and mention must go to his spot-on prediction for attempts on target. If it is any consolation sir, Gate still would have won even if your predictions had stood without penalties, so no dishonour tonight.

As for the 3rd place play-off, this was a much closer affair, with RS going in at half-time 3-1 up. Neymar's late goal really helped RS, who also scored 1pt for the outcome and a spot-on for zero red cards ...but...although Sector4 fired blanks on both the result and any goal-scorer, in the dying seconds of the game he hit both attempts off target and corners spot-on, plus a vital 1pt for being within 1 of the red card count, to snatch 3rd place. Congratulations to Sector4, and commiserations to RS.
