Morning chap. Difficult to say for certain, but your club has now opened up part of Block F and there’s only a handful of seats left in Block G, so I’d reckon about 650-700 or thereabouts. Our support always makes a lot of noise, so I’m sure you’ll be able to tell they’re there. I did my degree at Bradford and lived there for nearly ten years (loved the place), so I’ve seen many post-fire games from the old Kop when I couldn’t get to a U’s game, but sadly not this one. First match for me was Terry Dolan’s managerial debut against Oldham - what a night!

I'm hoping for 1000 of our faithful on Saturday in what will be your biggest home gate of the season.

The £5 a ticket is excellent and interestingly when you did a similar scheme in 2023 you attracted 20,383 to Valley Parade and beat us 2-0 that day.

I've been going to Valley Parade to watch Colchester since 2004 and in that first match Dean Windass scored twice in a 2-2 draw.

I suspect more than 21,000 on Saturday in what is likely to be a classic encounter.

Enjoy the game, but hopefully not too much!
