Super U's to be spot on at Spotland 09:32 - Mar 7 with 615 viewsdurham_exile

Rochdale today for TH and his relegation threatened charges.

Now one thing that we have learned about TH if we didn't before is that once crossed the player is out on his ear. In this case Clohessy who had the temerity not to shake the Manager's hand when substituted at Doncaster.

Clohessy is one of those players who flatters to deceive, good going forward but too easily beaten for pace by savvy wingers. He in truth had a nightmare at the Keepmoat and the subsequent inability to press the flesh has cost him his Colchester place.

Now TH involves the forgotten winger McEvoy in today's squad and he may get some game time.

A 4,5,1 formation is likely:

Walker

Wynter Osborne Eastman Briggs

Hewitt Massey Fox Gilbey Szmodics

Porter

Subs:

Lewington Harney Lawrence Moncur Sembie-Ferris McEvoy Marriott

Any penalties give the ball to Porter, he will never miss again.

Make sure that you sample a pie at Spotland, they are the best that I have tasted anywhere, locally made and sourced from an excellent farm.

Safe journey to all the travelling faithful.

Enjoy the game - "Everywhere we go, we're the Barside boys making all the noise, everywhere we go!"

At least Chris Porter scored his penalty.

11 cup finals 17 points still needed!!!!

As they say on the Dacia ad you do the maths.

Crawley and Yeovil are simply must wins. Any other result and we are virtually down it's that simple.

Plus Four more wins from these:
Gillingham A
Swindon H
Port Vale A
Barnsley H
Coventry A
Chesterfield A
Scunny H
Fleetwood A
PNE H

Simply not good enough this season.

I think Coventry away is as much if not more than a must win against the other two. Unless someone above the bottom five has an amazing slump in form like losing five or six on the spin, we need to take a minimum of 7 points from Crawley, Yeovil and Coventry to have any chance. We could possibly still draw against one of the first two but really need a win at Coventry.
