Chaps, some of you may have been following the Twitter and Facebook feeds, maybe even our website blogs, but I am delighted to report that not only did all four of our gloriously brave, hardy, even plain dumb crazy Wessex Archaeology team finish the 100km course in well under the 30 hours, but thanks in no small part to your fantastic generosity, utterly smashed through our fundraising target of £1.5k. Current total stands at nearly £3.3k, and funds are still coming in! For the overnight to dawn 'barsteward' section, from Checkpoint 8 to 9 (13.5km), one of the team wore my Col U beanie hat in tribute to your generosity, generosity which had been noticed by all!
