Thanks for posting Wessex. Another informative statement from our increasingly amiable chairman. Don't agree with him on Project Big Picture as it seemed very bad for the game going forward, but loved the honesty about the club. And the comments about his barnet made me chuckle - anyone got any pictures of his hair so far?

We remain fortunate that we have so loyal and conscientious Chairman.
Football has been financially out of control since the PL got going. The greed has been astonishing, almost unreal, yet it has always been obvious that the EFL and the pyramid are essential for the game. A better distribution of monies is long overdue.
I just hope - selfishly - that Mr Cowling's businesses hang in there.
