Dangerous high altitude winds mean that our brave Para's can't fly the match ball INTO the WHCS today. It's a shame, but it was a good effort to arrange some pre match entertainment for a good cause (and U's fans are always glad to support our military heros).
But rumour has it that they have since been diverted to the Ricoh Stadium - where Aidy Boothroyd has arranged (at the kick off) for the match ball to fly OUT of the stadium - with the intent that it is headed goalward by Clive Platt - parachuting tandem at 10,000 feet.
