I love these reports..I sympathise with you leaving games earlier when you were younger, especially Port Vale.
Although to be fair there are not too many times when it has worked in our favour I can't ever bring myself to leave until the final whistle.
In recent(ish) times there were a lot of empty seats around me when the 2nd goal went in vs Brentford at Loftus Road, followed by a lot of people trying to get back in to the stadium from the concourse.. |

Another great report Clive for a sadly uninspiring game and performance. Stoke at home now is huge (but so was Boro, Coventry, Portsmouth..)
I just hope that if there is a sacrificial lamb that it isn't Marti. As you rightly say , he has made mistakes, all players back for a corner is a particularly annoying tactic. Some substitutions, team selections etc. Some of this is with hindsight and also he will of course make mistakes.
However, I have faith that he is a manager who can get us out of this, I never felt that with Gareth. He has tactical awareness, I believe the players respect him, the fans (or majority) I believe do as well.
Supporting QPR has been a merry go round of changing managers - maybe for once we should have some stability in that position (we sort of did with Warburton). Keep Marti, let him manage the team when the injured players come back and if need be judge him then. But not now, not in November. Loyalty works both ways and I hope the owners/CEO do not take what I believe to be the wrong decision.
Time will tell I guess but I personally believe in Marti.. |

Fantastic preview as always. The Oldham game was special, all the other games you mention I have been to as well but that Oldham game was something else. Atmosphere is not necessarily the bigger the crowd = the most noise and therefore the best atmosphere. Atmosphere is when you look around you and see that everyone is totally invested and living every second of the game. That was the Oldham game, everyone there had lived through all the hassles of supporting QPR - there were no glory hunters or casual supporters. We deserved it. That game was special, it was absolutely electric. I will never forget it. |

Great report - I haven't been to an away game for a while (well..AFC Wimbledon in pre season but we won't count that). Thought the support in the away end was superb. The game was similar to the Ipswich game, some strong moments (usually involving Sinclair) but not taking chances.
He gets criticised now and then (at times justified) but of the games this season I think Dozzell has vastly improved, it's good to see him at the standard that we expected when first signed and hope it continues. Likewise Ozzy who is obviously enjoying playing as part of the back 3, the run he made at Southampton to try and set up an attack was superb.. |
