The apathy, lack of communication and ambition of the owners has taken its toll on the fan base.
Consequently, the investment and recruitment or lack of has resulted in mediocrity and an abysmal home record, the fact we average around 30,000 is incredible.
I’m in 2 minds whether to go Saturday myself, not as far as A. but still nearly 3 hours each way.

As it happens, if a decent manager can get this lot playing to their potential, we would have enough to get out of this mess.

I think this subject has been done to death and b mouth are probably as sick of it as we are.
The same old cliches get drawn out, bucket collections, loan of players etc
The only thing which matters right now is on the pitch, and they are much better than us at present and like most Saints fans, i’m not optamistic we’ll get anything there.
But here’s hoping and the only thing i’m clinging on to is we’re playing better away than at hone.

I’ll be in the minority here but going to say it anyway.
Assuming we can’t get Koeman back, i would take allaydice as a short term emergency stop gap, ensuring we stay up and then appoint someone more suitable for next season.
The current bloke has used up many winnable games and the return, due to negative tactics has been pityful ( i will say in his defence, was he given reeasonable transfer funds to bring in a much needed forward?)
Right now, i’m struggling to find many teams worse than us.
We are solid, yes, lots of good defenders and non scoring midfielders, but how many match winners have we got? |

The Man U guy sounds super confident. You cant blame him, the addition of lukaku, together with the form of rashford means they and city will fight it out for the title imo.

Palace must be delighted they've got us next.
They have quality players to come back in, other than a sulking vvd, what do we have?
Our attacking frailties were clearly evident at the end of last season , but this was not addressed.
If our midfield/ forward players are not creating or scoring now, when fully fit and against mediocre opposition, then i worry for us.
As for the manager, setting us up to play so negatively at home, doesn't fill me with any confidence.
Watford were better in every department, from the first to the last. |

Our fully fit forward line have a poor goal scoring record as it is, unless we have an incoming then we are asking for trouble.
