I am not totally convinced by your arguments Nick and see it as one side of the coin
Last year Solack lost his main revenue stream when control of his media empire was removed That must have an impact on his other businesses including Saints
Why have we not brought in any players on loan?Is it because it's an outlay of capital with no return?
I'm not certain of the figures but I reckon we are somewhere near breakeven on transfers That leads me to think maybe cashing in some saleable assets combined with the parachute payment could allow him to sell the club to almost anyone It wouldn't matter to him if they could fund it or not..
Time will tell but I haven't been this worried about our club since The Dark Lord put us into administration later than he should have so that we started the next season on minus 10 |

It's not difficult to see why Pompey are in a big relegation dog fight Norwich,Blackburn and Oxford have all looked better than them No quality and no class
Again missed chances cost us We could have been 2 up at half time I hope we will soon see Stewart and Armstrong in the starting 11
Azazz showed that he can be a very influential play maker Two brilliant passes should have both led to goals
Charles got some good minutes in When fit will he partner Downes or Jander as a holding pair?
Will we keep Bree or take a small fee from Charlton?If he stays he needs a new contract
Over the 2 games honours even I think We can do it again next year probably/possibly |

Nick there is a more modern argument between Southampton and poppy dockers
In the early 1970s ship owners wanted to take the chanel island ferries away from Portsmouth and bring them to Southampton
As Michael Foot han introduced the National Dock Labour Scheme Southampton dockers said no and under the scheme they had to stay in Pompey
The only regular ferry service from Southampton at that time was to Santader and when the employers wanted to take it to Pompey they said yes
That caused a lot of animosity |

I enjoyed the link up between Wellington and Scienza It looks like a pairing to develop.Other than that the defence,the m/f and the forward line where like 3 separate units
Nobody had a poor game but nobody stood out for more than the odd move
I hope it has given confidence to the team for Sunday but to me they didn't look cocky enough |

There is something inherently wrong in our club.I read about many conspiracy theories some of which seem plausible but none of which are provbable. I have wondered almost since SR took over why so many back room staff turn out to be short term appointments Is it all about money?
I believe that we have a reasonable,but bloated squad.We should reduce it in this window but not by shipping out experienced players OK Baz isn't the best keeper in the world but he has been there and done it Likewise Fraser
We are surely now at the point where the players personal pride should kick in.Just go out there and play to the best of your ability |

I will go to the game more in hope than anticipation
I would prefer a back 4 as we started with it at Donny using fringe players My cb pairing would probably be THB and Capt Calamity who in fairness does get a good score on headed clearances Just hope the don't run at him
Remember RoKo dropping Boric unfavourable of Forster when AB hadn't done anything wrong That didn't work out bad and got us a top 8 finish I don't see Peretz anymore of a gamble than that Against Donny I saw him shouting orders,I saw him trying different ways of getting us to go forward .A little gang ho at times but give him a break

Bazunu was where our tippy tappy started Perhaps this the SR way of breaking up the cartel of tippy tappy
He was partially impeded for the first goal although should have done better with the second
Shoot from around 18yrds against Baz,low across the keeper and you stood a good chance
I'll wait a half dozen ga.es before making a call on Peretz but agree the SR track record is not good
