Another one is arguably Ryan Manning who had a successful loan with Rotherham. Of course it didn't work out for us as he was unhappy with his treatment and took himself off to Swansea. Ended up playing with Southampton in the Premier League and an Irish international and is now one of the best left backs in the championship. Gets to rub it in our faces twice a season too.

Trying to squeeze out the last remains of your toothpaste tube and a whole load comes out at once, all over the sink. Then trying in vain to stuff it back in again. I must have wasted gallons of the stuff in my lifetime doing that!

Last time we went we parked near the big Sainsbury’s in Portswood which is about two miles from St.Mary’s. Either walk from there or take the bus nearer to the stadium. It’s the right side of town for getting back to the M27 afterwards too. Think it was Grosvenor Road. There’s a very good micropub on the right hand side on the way on Portswood Road called ‘The Bookshop Alehouse’ if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

You might be able to get somewhere closer in but I’d avoid the Queensland and Newtown areas near the hospital which looked a bit dodgy when walked though it. Bevois Town (near the Bookshop) might be a possibility I don’t think it has a CPZ.

I’ve been expecting mine to wear out but I still get 5 or 6 full shaves before having to recharge. Like I said I’ve had it for at least 7 years I think.

The Philips OneBlade Pro is one of the best things I ever bought. I always struggled with various types of shavers and blades but I’ve had my OneBlade about 7 years now and had no problems. I shave about twice a week so have to buy the replacement blades every 18 months or so. Not the cheapest option but been great for me.

I feel sorry for anyone trying to make sense of the contents of my wallet. Small amount of cash for dealing with Big Issue or AKUTR’s sellers, whoever comes first. A cellophane bag containing some stamps which may or may not ever be used. Some old train tickets, cards, nail clippers and my lucky charm which doesn’t work very well especially at QPR matches!

We were quite lucky getting in as just after we got there they put up a cordon blocking everyone getting up to the entrance for some reason. I was searched by a steward before the turnstiles who then insisted on going through all the compartments in my wallet. I told him I thought it was a bit ott and that I’ve been to loads of away games and never had that done before. He said I could talk to the police if I wanted and that people were taking drugs. I said lucky them! Got past him and another one tried to search me! Seemed to me like they were all under a lot of pressure, police and stewards.

Another one for Picnic which seems like it’s almost healthy somehow! I was given a Milk Chocolate Ferraro Rocher Bar a while ago and it was pretty good from memory. Have to try it again to make sure! Not exactly chocolate but I used to love a Caramac in my youth.
