Remember once when Les Chappell was caretaker manager after Tosh was sacked chatting to him in the Paxton over a pint (both of us) and asking him how a mate of mine was doing at the Vetch on a trial from the Swansea League !!!

Picture the scene 2014 having a beer with Laudrup in the Premier Lounge................maybe not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Days indeed ......

Tell us your stories there must be loads ........... I've been going to the HGB since 1978 and once opened the door on Nick Cusack in the Managers Office looking for Tony Petty but he was very polite ! Harry & Gwen were good friends of my grandparents and met at the Heathcliffe Club every week. When Harry died just after Tosh took over it was Harry's team with Curt Robbie & Charlo etc with Tosh's Liverpool boys Cally Tommy Smith Alan Waddle etc...........GREAT DAYS
