I know, but I thought, 'what the hell', and went for it.
Alcohol may have been involved, but it was quite liberating, to be honest. I burned my grammatical bra.
Anyway, a double negative would have been a positive, so I brought it back to the negative, therefore enhancing the vibe, if making it somewhat inarticulate.  [Post edited 30 Mar 11:28]

I'd like to just rip up Madsens contract now, we both go our separate ways, if he'd be agreeable. I actually worry for him a bit, I've never seen a footballer who looks so lacklustre and miserable.
But presumably we can't even do that, as at the moment we're discounting his transfer fee over the whole length of his 5 year contract, and if we released him now the whole fee would appear in one years accounts?
I suppose the best we can do is send him out on loan somewhere, God willing. |

I don't think not starting players who won't last the 90 is quite the same as playing a deliberately weakened team. We really can't afford another player breaking down. |

But Anderson was decent against Leeds, as was Dembele, when he came on.
As you say, we don't know how fit Lloyd or Morrison really are. Lloyd offers no threat anyway.
I kind of wonder if Marti is sending a message when he brings Madsen on. A bit like someone blinking when being held under duress.
I might pick up on my 10 season long development squad rant soon. |

Your post got me reflecting about the idea of introducing alcohol to kids at an earlier age then maybe we do, and introducing it as an accompaniment to food, rather then something to get smashed on. Maybe fostering a healthier relationship with alcohol then possibly I've had.
My first real introduction to alcohol was at primary school age. I would sleep over at a friend's house, his mum and dad would go out for the evening and we would help ourselves to his dad's homebrew. We were sensible enough not to get ourselves absolutely smashed.
We moved to the Isle of Man when I was 13 - this place was known as '50,000 alcoholics clinging to a rock in the Irish Sea', and by God, it was. My first appearance in court for alcohol related stuff was at 15 or 16.
Alcohol, drugs, punk and QPR were my life til I had kids and learnt about responsibility.
I suppose I should say how vacuous it all was, but truth is, l loved those days. I'm very aware I have to be careful around alcohol, though. |

Yeah, I fell asleep around the 60th minute.
Qualifiers are so boring now there are so many groups, so many qualifiers to the finals, and so many teams aiming to qualify through play offs etc and whose sole intent against the ranking team is to keep the score down.
I fully get it from their point of view, but it makes it boring for the ranking team. |
