Reckons we'll be on 1155 points on the FIFA rankings site, good enough for 10th in the world in the current rankings. England will be on 1157 with a win, draw or lose and we go above them

It's unbelievable to think we could be in pot 1 when we were in pot 6 last time around.
Even if we were to stay in pot 2 we could be looking at a group of Romania, Wales, Northern Ireland, Armenia, Faroe Islands, San Marino and who wouldn't fancy us to get out of that?
Couldn't imagine us being that lucky though.

WC Qualifiers being drawn from the rankings in July. Currently we are guaranteed to be in pot 2 but could be in pot 1 if we beat Belgium and other results go our way.

UEFA use a different ranking system though and we are currently 29th in that.

James Thomas think should get a mention, god only knows where we'd be now without his hat-trick at Hull. In all seriousness though think Wilf has to be the best striker we've had.

What are the chances the Welsh FA will switch venue?

"the FAW had no intention of moving the group games to the Millennium stadium" is completeley different to "0%" chance and it definitely doesn't mean that the FAW won't move the fixtures "no matter what" as you declared, especially when money is involved.

President of the FAW said back in September that the games could be moved to the Millennium.
