A brief history of Yanks in control of Premier league clubs:

Fulham. purchased 2013, relegated 2014
Aston Villa: purchased 2007, relegated 2016
Sunderland: purchased 2008, relegated 2017

Liverpool, Manchester Utd, and Arsenal: each were perennial Champions League title contenders until Yanks took control. Without their riches I'm sure they'd be relegated too. Except for Fergie's final years with Utd, none has won a league title with Americans in charge.

Let's face it, Yanks are pants running top flight football clubs. I think they're just too used to the system that rewards the teams that finish last.

Trust Statement regarding potential takeover of Swansea City Football Club

It seems one of the main investors (Levien) has a history of meddling in club affairs, botching important transfers, and creating general discord among backroom staff and upheaval within his clubs.

As for the other guy (Kaplan), he seems to offer his own share of drama to the teams he's involved with:

If this deal goes through, expect more of the same from these guys. I don't trust any of his "assurances" given to the trust either. Without a 25% stake held by the trust, I fully expect the trust to be completely ignored by this consortium, ticket prices to rise drastically, and general upheaval to follow.

Have the casuals not been paying attention to what's been happening with the Dwarves? Well, there's always a bright side - at least Levien doesn't wear his belt around his chest....

to the chorus from the tune "California uber alles" by the Dead Kennedys:

Swansea City, uber alles! (Repeat in 4X intervals)

and/or alternating/alternatively:

Swansea City, Aberatwe! (repeat as above)

There is a LOT more that could be done with this tune, but this part would be "uber" catchy!
