Same as you. I have been for a few of games when home but due to commitments a season ticket isn’t for me. Not had a season ticket for few years now. Swans a much much better watch these days.
Take your point there Boundy….but a few years back I was forced to go to a Kylie Minnogue concert. It turned out to be brilliant until I had to use the toilets. It was really uncomfortable standing next to some 7’ nutter in full dancing girl gear, stocking etc. so maybe Res has a point.
The advantage Sheehan has over any other candidates is time served and delivering on average 2pts a game during his tenure. He has rescued our season when no other candidate would risk their reputation. He has stated he wants to take the club forward and won’t settle for average. That’s the message I get from his interviews and that may well lead to him not being hired.
I really believe that the CEO should be made accountable and prosecuted. He’s quick enough to take a bonus for failure so with that must come accountability. We’ve had measurable rainfall the last week or so……but more or less drought like conditions a month previous and we still had raw sewage discharge. Where has all the money been spent over the years?
He recovered well but yet again nearly blew it with a penalty after his pit stop. Yes he finished over 5 secs ahead but that’s not the point. He needs to maintain focus and stop being a child. Oscar has matured a lot since last year and I have to say currently he is the only driver capable of challenging Max, and after todays race Max realises that big time.
Interesting article….and I’d love him to stay as he’s been excellent for us. However he was a short term expensive fix who’s put himself in the shop window and I’ve no doubt teams with more financial clout than us will snap him up.
We have to think long and hard about this. North Sea oil is being taxed to oblivion. The fields are getting older and more difficult to maintain. Has everyone forgotten how energy prices have rocketed since Russia invaded Ukraine? The price of steel will follow this trend once we get to the point of having to import virgin steel and not have the capability to produce our own.
Then we get to water. We are being poisoned by our own suppliers in the name of profit to shareholders. What’s the answer? Increase prices for what is apparently a human right if a charity comes knocking on your door for Water Aid funding.
The bottom line is whatever we want….whatever we are promised by politicians….we have no control what so ever in the outcome other than being asked to pay more and more for less. We really are descending as a country back to the days of serfdom.
Watching Sky today where they wax lyrical over Lando being open and honest etc. Too tough on himself. I don’t see that with Max nor Oscar. At the top of any sport you have to be mentally strong to the point of being self centered and obnoxious. That is Max. Oscar? well he’s just cold….and Maclarens best bet to break Max.
Hamilton needs time to find the way to drive the Ferrari. He’s getting closer to Charles…which is the measure that should be used. It’ll be interesting how things progress in the next four or five races.
Agree with what you say there. Had a mate who worked in the PS and some of the stories defy belief. Common sense appears to be in short supply which is why he left. A convicted Jihadist allowed to work in a kitchen ffs. Whoever allowed that should be picking up a P45 or made to work with these murderous scum.
Luca and Joe midfield terriers eh 😃 Hopefully will have a positive impact on our commercial income….along with a few pints of sponsored Croatian Craft Ale!
I think the board has accidentally built a performing intelligent management team who have the ability to manage individual games and adapt formations and styles to suit.If I was Sheehan my price to stay has increased.
Why do we as fans see the blatantly obvious in comparison to the board…both previous and current. Ok…we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes fully but it may be coming to a point that Sheehan may turn down any offer made by the Swans.
Agree with your sentiments there. He’s really pulled it off in bucket loads I think. I’m looking at a different team these days. The only downside is he’s put himself out there as a coach who has drive and quality about him. He’ll be a wanted man in my opinion.
